Change Leadership Academy, and the Founder

A training consultancy established in 2022 by the founder King Benedict with the vision to empower individuals and organizations to transform with purpose and strategies.  


King Benedict is a highly accomplished professional specializing in the intersection of Learning & Development and Change Management, bringing over two decades of experience driving transformations across complex organizations. His expertise spans diverse sectors, including mass transit, gas utilities, global container shipping, and higher education.


King has extensive experience facilitating critical organizational change projects such as ERP migrations, merger integration, cultural transformation, and innovation campaigns. His global exposure is significant; he has designed and conducted training and organizational development initiatives for employees and managers across Asia, North America, and Europe. 


He has a proven ability to drive change from a foundation of talent and cultural development, evidenced by his certifications as a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Prosci Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).


As a recognized authority in the profession, King has served as a judge for global talent development awards, including the Association for Talent Development (ATD) Excellence in Practice Awards and BEST Awards, and the Brandon Hall Excellence Awards. He also contributed to the future of the discipline by serving on the Association for Change Management Professional Standard Evolution Beta Testers Task Force (2024-25) and as a speaker and pre-conference workshop trainer at the Change Management Global Connect Conference (2023). 


King wrote a business novel "Giga Manager" (2006) initiating a middle management competency model, and was a columnist writing articles on business and change on press.

  • Target group: For those who would like to make a change in personally or professionally. 
  • Objective: Inspire participants to make change happen for themselves, leveraging their strengths and taking proven effective steps.
  • Outline: We will guide the participants to revisit their strengths, share the current and desired state,  set up the goal for change, review the challenges, resources and possibilities. and make a plan for successful change.
  • Duration: 3 hours

Program IN02: Be a Change Leader

  • Target group: For those who would like to take leadership of their own life to make an impact. 
  • Objective: Inspire participants to take leadership of their own life and exercise leadership in daily lives to create impact to their own and the people around.  
  • Outline: We will inspire the "why" or purpose of the participants, revisit the admirable leaders they aspire, explore the opportunities that they can exercise day-to-day leadership in their lives to create an impact to the people around.
  • Duration: 3 hours

Program IN03: Empowering People to Change

  • Target group: For those who would like to mobilize other people to change. 
  • Objective: Equip the participants with a range of skills to mobile other people to change.
  • Outline: The participants will  experience how to influence other people to change through persuading, motivating, enabling, creating the environment, and finally empower people to change to create the lasting momentum.

Program OR01: Transforming Organizations

  • Target group:  Change Leaders and Change Managers  
  • Objective: Create an alignment for the Change Leaders and Change Managers on high-level vision as well as proven effective Change Management framework, standards and practices. 
  • Outline: 
  • Day 1: We will explore the difference between change leadership and change management, and first focus on change leadership covering visioning, strategizing and leading the organization to transform with real world examples. 
  • Day 2: The focus is on change management by walking through the participants with professional Change Management standards, frameworks, best practices and tools. 
  • Day 3: The program contains case studies and experience sharing of organizational changes in different industries. Participants may gain insights for their own change projects on hand.

Program OR02: Co-Creating Organizational Change with Stakeholders

  • Target group: For Change Management teams in organizations.  
  • Objective: Empower the Change Management teams to appreciate and leverage the approach of co-creating changes with stakeholders to make the maximum impact
